The next generation of veterans giving back to those who came before them. What a powerful coming together! These veterans were with us for the very first official Vietnam Day Celebration  for Wisconsin. They came back last year to be a part of us. They already told me they are ready to support us again this year (2012). I am so proud to introduce to you these Veterans from UW Stout. Having them be a part of us meant so much. You have honored both the veterans and their families. I as a proud daughter of a Vietnam Veteran also thank you. You are now a part of us. We are are proud of you as well.

To learn more about them, go to our (Featured Persons Page)

                          Regional Hospice Philosophy
Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide sensitivity, care, and support for people living with a terminal illness.  Hospice is about living life to the fullest in secure and familiar surroundings with those who matter most—family and friends.

We believe that each person has the right to die pain-free and with dignity.
We believe in supporting the caregiver as well as the patient.

I met Beverly many years ago and was so impressed with her energy, passion, & quick wit. She is so funny and such a genuine soul. She has a heart for those who are hurting, especially those that are most often forgotten. This is her calling, this is her life's work. They are some of the most beautiful pieces she puts together.

I brought a load one time to an orphanage in Vietnam. The staff were genuinely and overwhelmingly pleased. I think they didn't realize how  cute and extraordinary they were going to actually be. I think they believed the blankets were simply basic little children blankets.

Not Beverly's blankets. They are full of life with vibrant colors and fun famous cartoon characters. Beverly states that all her blankets she gives out are as a hug from her to the children they go to.

Thank  you Beverly for all that you do, not only for Vietnam, but all over the world.
