Honoring Veterans and their families, Healing wounds of war
Many Vietnam Veterans have stories that were never told and need to be heard. I was honored by the privilege of meeting with many of them and hearing their stories. I knew this knowledge was shared with me to not just keep to myself, but to pass on to others and to assist in providing a platform for them to tell their own stories. We also get Veterans and their families connected with our various projects and connect them to useful resources.

Recovery Advocacy
Healthy Individuals equal Healthy Families equal Healthy Communities
Everybody has known someone at one time who has been affected by one of the leading health issues in our country- Alcohol & Drug abuse or dependency. Too many times people do not get the help that they need or only after their using becomes a real problem. Sometimes it’s too late. There are various reasons for this. One is the shame & stigma attached to people who do suffer, keeping them from going forward to get the help they need. WWRA is an advocacy outreach that brings awareness and understanding to the community about the dynamics of addiction, offering hope including to family members that recovery is possible, and sharing of various resources for everyone about health and wellness in keeping healthy families and communities.
